A silent sentinel in the golden sea of grass, a lone cheetah waits. The sun dips low on the horizon, casting a warm, amber glow across the savanna. As the tall grasses sway gently in the breeze, our hearts race in anticipation. Poised on powerful haunches, this sleek marvel of nature surveys the horizon with keen amber eyes, a testament to the unmatched grace of the world's fastest land mammal.

Cheetahs are renowned for their incredible speed, capable of reaching speeds up to 75 miles per hour in short bursts covering distances of around 500 meters. This unmatched velocity is a vital asset during hunts, enabling them to close in swiftly on their prey.

The cheetah's coat is adorned with a distinctive pattern of black tear marks running from the inner corners of their eyes down to the sides of their mouths. These markings not only reduce sun glare but may also serve as a form of communication, enhancing the cheetah's ability to signal intent to other members of its species.

Unlike other big cats, cheetahs often prefer a more solitary existence, with males frequently establishing territories that may overlap with those of females. This characteristic behavior helps minimize competition for resources and increases their chances of successful hunting in the expansive savannas they call home.

Is there a Size Chart?

Are The Prints Signed?

Because my prints are sent directly to you from the print lab, I am unable to sign every print by hand. However, I am ALWAYS happy to sign your print after it arrives when I'm in your area - just send me a message!

Limited Editions versus Open Editions

Limited editions simply means that these prints are only available in certain quantities for that size and paper type. For example, typically my small prints are limited editions of 100 - once they are gone, they wont be available anymore at that size.

Open editions are available forever - these are being offer as acrylic prints in 40" and 60" sizes. I am offering open editions of some of my older images as well as the current collection.

Framing Suggestions

I always prefer to support a local frame shop - however we all have times where we need something a little more budget friendly.

www.frame-it-easy.com is my favorite only solution for custom frames. I don't get anything for recommending them - they're just a really great company I like to support!
