Our guide parked the car far from the elephants, far from the other cars, on the sheer intuition that they would come to the watering hole. It was nearing dinner time, and the other cars headed back to the camps, but we sat and waited - and they came. The little family drank and bathed, played and sprayed each other with water, flecks of mud and water landing on our car. We watched as one of the older elephants sniffed the bones of an elephant who had died at this spot, taking a moment of silence to remember her fallen companion. I wanted to capture the gamut of familial behavior and I watched closely as this group raised and lowered their trunks, until the echos of lines and shadows came together in this shot.

Returns Policy

I strive for happy clients - in 4 years, I've never had a request to return a print. However, if you have changed your mind, you can ship your print back to me at your expense, and I will provide a full refund once I have received your package.

In order to serve my customers best, my prints are sent to the lab within a few hours after purchase. If you have made a duplicate order or an error in your order, please contact me ASAP to fix the issue before the order is sent to the printer.

In the very rare event that your product should arrive damaged, simply contact me with photographs of the package and product and I'll be happy to replace it at no cost to you.

Limited Editions versus Open Editions

Limited editions simply means that these prints are only available in certain quantities for that size and paper type. For example, typically my small prints are limited editions of 100 - once they are gone, they wont be available anymore at that size.

Open editions are available forever - these are being offer as acrylic prints in 40" and 60" sizes. I am offering open editions of some of my older images as well as the current collection.

Framing Suggestions

I always prefer to support a local frame shop - however we all have times where we need something a little more budget friendly.

www.frame-it-easy.com is my favorite only solution for custom frames. I don't get anything for recommending them - they're just a really great company I like to support!
