Amboseli, Kenya

2022

The gentlest among giants, his figure loomed large over the trees as we approached. He seemed to pose for me, undaunted by our proximity. He would turn his body towards me and make eye contact, like he understood that in my own small way I was trying to connect with him. As he circled our car, I felt myself holding my breath as he brushed past me - I was lying prone on the floor to capture a low angle, and his legs came within inches of my hand. The experience felt holy, a quiet moment with on of the most majestic animals that has ever lived - just me and him in this vast wilderness.

Craig is one of just 24 "Tuskers" that remain in all of Africa. A "Tusker" is an elephant whose tusks are estimated to weigh over 100 pounds, and they often scrape the ground. How many more Tuskers could there be if we could solve poaching, human-wildlife conflicts, and habitat fragmentation? I have to wonder if my grandchildren will know a world where these giants roam...or if these will be the last 24.

I strive for happy clients - in 4 years, I've never had a request to return a print. However, if you have changed your mind, you can ship your print back to me at your expense, and I will provide a full refund once I have received your package.

In order to serve my customers best, my prints are sent to the lab within a few hours after purchase. If you have made a duplicate order or an error in your order, please contact me ASAP to fix the issue before the order is sent to the printer.

In the very rare event that your product should arrive damaged, simply contact me with photographs of the package and product and I'll be happy to replace it at no cost to you.

Limited Editions versus Open Editions

Limited editions simply means that these prints are only available in certain quantities for that size and paper type. For example, typically my small prints are limited editions of 100 - once they are gone, they wont be available anymore at that size.

Open editions are available forever - these are being offer as acrylic prints in 40" and 60" sizes. I am offering open editions of some of my older images as well as the current collection.

Framing Suggestions

I always prefer to support a local frame shop - however we all have times where we need something a little more budget friendly.

www.frame-it-easy.com is my favorite only solution for custom frames. I don't get anything for recommending them - they're just a really great company I like to support!
