I had spent the morning photographing the giant flock of flamingos at either end of Lake Elmentaita, when I spotted this smaller group in a single file line, moving past each other with purpose as they moved from one feeding area to another. I was struck by the lines and simplicity of it, a peaceful scene that would evoke a feeling a calm when displayed in my home. I created this image as a complement to “Three Flamingos Flying” and “Sleeping Warrior,” as the three together tell the story of this flock of flamingos on a single lake, moving around, flocking together and dispersing, in a never-ending dance.

Prints arrive ready for a standard store bought frame, although custom framing is recommended for the Extra Large prints, as there is no border and the frame must fit perfectly.
